I think the title really says it all.
It’s a quarantine diary.
I’m holding up pretty well.
Until I’m not.
Never-ending isolation hurts sometimes.
My mind kind of collapses in on itself with worry and overthinking and under sleeping.
I feel so lonely and weird sometimes.
Which makes me isolate even more.
When people ask how you are, is anyone brave enough to say:
I’m not OK.

What began as a creative challenge to focus my energies during the first weeks of solo quarantine in March 2020, evolved into a diary of my experience.
These small, original portraits are painted on top pages cut and upcycled from my sketchbooks.
