“Don’t think about making art, just get it done. Let everyone else decide if it’s good or bad, whether they love it or hate it.
While they are deciding, make even more art.”
― Andy Warhol
More creating, less over-thinking.
More doing, less planning.
Today’s journaling prompts (below) will help you discover what goes on in your mind that interferes with creating.
Awareness is the first step in being able to assess what’s not working for you. Once you are aware, then you have information that you can use to decide what you might do (or think) differently moving forward.
So many other artists have said something like this quote by Andy Warhol. At some point, all artists have to just surrender to the work they need to do. This entails letting go of the judgements that keep them from working.
In my experience, this is something I have to commit to on a daily basis. Remember – forget – remember.
The mission of my blog is: creativity + travel + courage.
My hope in sharing all of this with you is that you, too find the courage to make what only you can create.
That you take the inner journeys that only you can make.
That you dare a little, dream a lot, and understand that within you are magnificent gifts that the world is waiting to receive.
The Journal Prompts in this Post Are Included in the FLOW: 30 Day Journal Project Printables
When I offered the first 30 Day Journal Project, I found that having the prompts printed out in advance helped me get right into my journaling for the day.
I think of this as lazy journaling. 🙂
Fill in the blank, and you’re done!
After I made these for myself, I prettied up the design (and added another layout) so you could use them, too. This is what I’m using for my own journaling.
There is another layout for cutting and pasting into an existing journal.

There are four different sets of 30 Day Journal Project Printables, beautifully designed, each with a different theme.
I really value the relationships that are made working with people over a period of time. I also value being in my studio making art…so my mission was to find a way to work together in a way that would be accessible, not time-consuming or overwhelming—for either of us.
Use the printables on your own, or with The 30 Day Journal Workshop
Come on over to my studio in Mexico (via video!) where I’ll show you how to journal with intention and focus as we create two different kinds of handmade journals. It all happens in The 30 Day Journal Project Workshop, designed for experienced and brand new journalers alike!
