“Build a man a fire, and he’ll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he’ll be warm for the rest of his life.”
— Terry Pratchett
This post is Day 31 (bonus day) in the FIRE: 30 Day Journal Project.
So much richness exists within the pages of your journal.
Now’s a good time to take stock and reflect on what you’ve gained.
One of the creative journaling processes I developed and teach in all of my workshops is called Harvesting. Here’s a little bit about how Harvesting works, and how you can use it now. Once you learn how to harvest, you can do it for any workshop or course you take.
We often aren’t aware of all we have gained or learned from an experience or class unless we look at it again with fresh eyes. Harvesting helps us go back through our work and observe the take-away’s, a-ha moments, and new ideas.
Harvesting brings closure, helps with completion, and reminds you of your intention. Harvesting will show you how far you’ve traveled on your creative journey, and where you might like to go next.
Use the journaling prompts below to Harvest your learnings from the FIRE: 30 Day Journal Project.
It can be helpful to look through your journal from the beginning before you answer the prompts.
