In just 10 days, I take off for the first leg of my USA workshop tour, and wanted to send you this quick reminder in case you’re thinking of joining me.
Here’s the schedule —
San Diego, CA:
Dreaming on Paper, Saturday, July 2, 2016
Dreaming on Paper, Sunday, July 10, 2016
First of all, I want to tell you that I teach because there’s nothing more important to me than empowering people to take confident action on their creative ideas. To say yes to their creative yearnings. Even if those yearnings are unclear or as of yet formless.
Your creativity, when harnessed, is revolutionary.
Your creativity is there to help you go where you most want to go, be who you most want to be, make what you dream of. Not just art.
Art is a nice by-product of taking creative action.
The more meaningful outcome is living the creative life that you dream of living. Living creatively is revolutionary, for so many reasons – but let’s save that for another post. I feel a manifesto coming on!
Do you want to create and hesitate? Have doubt or feel intimidated by the whole enterprise? That’s really common and even a normal part of the creative process.
Part of making art is learning how to believe in yourself, how to trust yourself, and how to be kind and generous enough with yourself to start saying yes to those inklings and whispers that keep urging you to create.
In these workshops, I will show you how to create without fear of the blank page, learning how to play and make a happy mess without fear of doing it wrong or not doing it perfectly.
Dreaming On Paper: The Creative Sketchbook, helps you excavate your own true desires, innate wisdom, and intuition. It’s like meditation, or a really great coaching or therapy session, but with art supplies.
Wherever you need courage or confidence, whether in your creativity or anywhere else in your life, the methods taught in Dreaming on Paper help you move forward with more ease, and way less fear.
All you need to do is show up with a blank sketchbook… and in a few hours… leave with a magic book that supports you with something that you need guidance on right now, along with tools and techniques you can use for a lifetime of creative action-taking!
You’ll get 4 in-depth hours of workshop time, 2 – 6 pm, with plenty of 1:1 guidance from me. Studio is open an hour in advance, so you can pop in, visit, and ease into workshop mode. EASE is key being creatively productive. You’ll experience this for yourself.
These workshops are kept intentionally small – usually around 8-12 people, so that you have space to work and be able to ask me anything. After the workshop we usually go out for dinner at a cozy place nearby for those who are up for it. Or art supply shopping!
Priced at $225, which includes art materials AND full registration in the online course, too – which is just brimming with resources that you can continue to use after the workshop. This workshop meets a pre-requisite for my facilitator training program, too. 🙂
Just for: 8-12 people = lots of personal attention in a small group of kindreds.
You’ll learn the exact techniques and methods I use in my own creative practice, and that I’ve shared with thousands of happy students who no longer are stuck wondering what to do when they are faced with a blank page (an actual page, or the blank page of a life experience).
Does this sound wonder-FULL and helpful to you right now? Do you want IN?
If so, you can register right here:
Space is limited, so do make sure you reserve asap to claim your spot.
p.s. If you can’t make it to a live workshop this July, here’s a link to the whole Dreaming on Paper workshop (Digital Edition) description, if you want to read more about it and purchase to do at home: https://lisasonora.com/dreaming-paper-digital-edition/
How has creativity been revolutionary for you?
