Have you ever dreamed of doing an art residency?
Since 2015 I’ve been hosting artist retreat workshops here in Oaxaca Mexico. My own workshops, as well as a select group of other teachers who travel here to teach their art workshops.
Hearing about the workshops, several artist friends (and friends of friends) who know me, wrote to ask if they could come stay here and do their own thing.
Can I do my own Art Residency at your place in Mexico?
Not attend a workshop, just hang out in an artistic environment, and maybe do some creative work of their own.
So besides hosting dozens of workshops and groups, the most inspiring people keep landing on my doorstep, wanting to experience the magic of Mexico for themselves.
Many have come back again! It’s so rewarding to be a part of another artist’s creative journey.
Now that things are humming along with a small staff, Art House Oaxaca is now available for you to book your own private art residency.
If you’re a teacher interested in bringing your own group here, read on.

An art residency is designed to give you the opportunity to dive deep and focus on a creative project without distraction.
