Give the Gift of Creativity: My 3 Top Picks, Including One You Can Afford to Give to Everyone

Give Creativity GraphicMy favorite gifts to give and receive are creative experiences. If you’re like me, maybe you don’t want more stuff, but you do want to nurture your creative spirit.

The desire for creative expression is huge. You know this already. But so many who come to my workshops are just in the very beginning stages of claiming their creativity. They long for more creative something, even if they can’t quite put words to it.

They explain it to me:

  • as a yearning…
  • for something, but they don’t know exactly what…
  • to play with art supplies or start a journal…

while taking care to mention:

  • “even though I’m not an artist”, or
  • even though I’ve never done anything creative before“.

So today I’ve gathered a short list of ideas for those lucky recipients on your holiday gift list.

You probably know someone who would love and benefit from these gifts. Or maybe that someone is… you?!

I’ll start with the gift you can give everyone. It’s absolutely free!

30 Day Journal Project - Learn how creative journaling can help you grow in business and in lifeGift #1: The 30 Day Journal Project

This is my passion project. Every year, I create a month-long creative journey that people all over the world participate in online.

My goal with this project is to help you discover the power and magic of creative journaling, whether you’re brand new to the idea, or a longtime journaling fool like me. 🙂

Our theme for 2016 is the creative FIRE, and it begins on January 1.

Everyone LOVES getting this workshop. They will love and appreciate you for sharing it.

To give this gift, simply send the following link to anyone on your list:

You can also post the link or share the images (the images are linked to the 30 Day Journal Project page) on any of your social media accounts, paste it into an email, or even include it in your own blog post or newsletter o share with your own readers.

Want to give something a little extra along with 30 Day Journal Project?
Fire: 30 Day Journal Project Printables Badge

When I offered the first 30 Day Journal Project, I found that having the prompts printed out in advance helped me get right into my journaling for the day. So I made this set of printables.

Includes 30 days of prompts & quotes (plus one bonus day) with 2 different layout designs

Instant download

Whether you are brand new to journaling or simply want to break out of a rut in your creative practice, these printable prompts will make it fast and easy to get going.

You can read more about the printables and how they work here > and also see all of the printables packs available. There is a different theme each year.

Gift #2: 21 Secrets Art Journaling Workshops

Keeping a visual journal / sketchbook / art journal (choose the name you like best) is my #1 creative and business tool. I use it for everything!

Confessions: I love to take workshops as much as I love teaching them.

I’m also really picky about who I work with and what I recommend.

Humanity is in need of healing – recent global events leave that truth indusputable. I am finally understanding that transforming the global landscape actially begins with every person being healed within.

I truly believe that art has the capacity to transform us on many levels. Creative journalling offers everyone access to tapping into their creativity. Lisa’s courses are fantastic and offer real tools to break down the barriers to creativity and releasing your inherent creative power – even it you have a deep seated belief that you’re not “artistic”.

I am deeply grateful to Lisa Sonora’s work and development of her online courses. And as my Christmas wish is for global peace and harmony – I am sharing this to my friends, family and through my business page.

Start with the upcoming 30-day journalling project… You won’t regret it! X

Thank you for everything you have done, not only for me, but for everyone who’s had the pleasure of taking one of your workshops.
